Ainsley Fleetwood Chicago House Tour - Bathroom

After months of finding new products to improve my tiny, dingy bathroom, I thought I’d covered all of my bases. I solved my towel storage problem with a luxe-looking, wall-mounted rack; I hung a floral West Elm shower curtain to brighten up the windowless space; I even installed an extra medicine cabinet in a gorgeous green color that matches the curtain. If I do say so myself, I think I’ve done a pretty good job of turning my dreary bathroom around.

Then, I noticed that there was one obvious area that I somehow forgot to address: the countertop. My soap dispenser and toothbrush holder didn’t go together at all, and I didn’t have any type of organizer to make the most of the small bit of space. After spending so much on the other upgrades, I decided to look on Amazon for a budget-friendly set that still fit into the vintage-esque vibe in my bathroom. It took a minute, but I found this absolutely adorable Mason jar bundle, which turned out to be the finishing touch my bathroom needed.

What Is the Amolliar Mason Jar Bathroom Accessories Set?

If you love Mason jars as much as I do, you’ll fall in love with the rustic look of this set, which includes a 16-ounce soap dispenser with a stainless steel top. The pump can handle thick liquids like lotion and dish soap, if you already have your hand soap covered, and it’s equipped with a leakproof gasket that helps if you tip the container over. The rest of it is made of glass, with a regular mouth opening — though for a few dollars more, you can opt for every piece to have a wide mouth.

Another included item is the 16-ounce toothbrush holder, which is made of a wide-mouth Mason jar. The lid divides it into three compartments: One is half-size, while the others are quarter-size. It’s designed to fit electric toothbrushes and flossers, as well as most sizes of toothbrushes and toothpaste tubes.

The last included items are two cute apothecary jars, aka 8-ounce, regular-mouth Mason jars. The lids are made of the same rustproof metal, which also comes in six finishes, but they have little handles on top that you can lift for access. You can take your cotton swabs, Q-tips, hair bands, and more out of their packaging and relocate them to these more stylish containers instead. These, like the other items in the bundle, are embossed with designs on the sides like many standard Mason jars are. The larger ones even have measurement marks.

Why I Love the Amolliar Mason Jar Bathroom Accessories Set

I’m a fan of all things vintage, especially if they’re timeless classics like Mason jars. The nifty canning containers have been around since the 1800s, with more and more people bringing them back into their kitchens lately — including Reese Witherspoon, who uses them as summer drinking glasses!

Beyond the kitchen, Mason jars are such a versatile item to have around your home, especially because you can find different kinds of lids for them. You might’ve come across Mason jar soap dispenser lids at some point, which you can opt for if you have some spare ones lying around. Wanting to knock a few birds out with one stone, I decided this set was too good of a deal to pass up (and I didn’t have any Mason jars that I wanted to move out of my kitchen anyway). At only $19, this set is a steal.

Like standard Mason jars, the glass is impressively sturdy. I’ve owned this set since last November, and it’s still going strong, even the soap dispenser I use every day. I even dropped the toothbrush holder at one point on my tile floor, and it didn’t crack. They also have more heft to them than the plastic dispenser and holder I was using before, so there isn’t any tipping if I yank my toothbrush or toothpaste out with too much force. It’s also easy to refill the dispenser with soap or remove the lid of the toothbrush holder for cleaning.

I also used to keep my cotton swabs in their plastic packaging, but now, I stack them in the two smaller bonus jars. It’s so much prettier and easier to access. This set has upped my style and storage game in my bathroom, and I didn’t even need to pay more than $20!
