At my last job, I tested beauty products, so I consider myself an expert in finding places in your home for your skincare and make-up collection to live. I currently live in a compact one-bedroom apartment with my boyfriend — and he was not thrilled to discover that I have more than 200 cosmetics products. I have some stored in the weirdest places (a kitchen drawer) and use multiple organizers to keep the rest wrangled. So, when I stumble upon a cosmetics organizer that is stylish enough to match multiple aesthetics, space-saving, and practical, I have to tell everyone about it.

The Umbra Bellwood Organizer is made up of three tiers, with the bottom tier being the most spacious, so you can store your Tatcha serums or dry shampoos, while the top two tiers are a bit shorter, which are ideal for your Rare Beauty blush and other shorter products. There’s even a little bonus white cup for your brushes!

But I think the best part about this organizer is that if you have an impressive collection, the organizer displays it in a chic way. I mean, you spent all that money on Charlotte Tilbury and Biossance, you might as well show it off. The white trays contrasted with the natural wood makes it so the organizer blends in with nearly any room color scheme. I personally picture the Bellwood on top of a tall dresser, sitting next to a vanity mirror, or perched on top of a bathroom counter. Unlike plastic organizers, this is one that you don’t want to hide in a cabinet or under the sink. It’s a little less than 8 inches wide, so it won’t take up a lot of real estate. We’re all about vertical storage at AT — it’s the ultimate small-space hack.

I haven’t even told you the best part about this organizer yet — it’s technically portable (not in the carry-down-the-street-way, unfortunately), but the natural wood actually acts as a disguised handle. You could move the Bellwood from your bathroom to your bedroom with ease, so you can essentially make anywhere in your house your get-ready station for only $46.
