Yes, Valentine’s Day is just two weeks away, but more importantly, that means that Galentine’s Day is almost here. Celebrated on Feb. 13, Galentine’s Day comes from a 2010 episode of “Parks and Recreation” in which Leslie Knope (played by Amy Poehler) gathers all her female friends together for breakfast the day before V Day. It’s pretty much the best fake holiday there is (as if we needed an excuse to shower our friends with love).

We rounded up eight of our favorite gifts that are fun, unique, and totally meaningful. Knock Knock Fill in the Blank Book

I’ve given these Knock Knock books to both of my parents and a friend, and they’ve always been a hit. In my humble opinion, they’re the ideal gift: unfussy, personal, and budget-friendly. There are several options to choose from depending on the recipient and your relationship, and the Bestie version is (obviously) perfect to give to all your BFFs.

Seamless Gift Card

A Seamless gift card is an unexpected yet wonderful gift for your friend who hates cooking (or just deserves a few nights of delivered meals). Available in both digital and physical form, a Seamless gift card never expires and can be purchased with any amount. Another option is Drizly (an alcohol delivery service), which doesn’t currently offer gift cards but does allow you to place an order as a gift.

Color Series Photo Book

For something a little different yet totally thoughtful, consider giving your friend a photo book. After all, you probably have countless photos together—why not put them all together in one place? Artifact Uprising’s Color Series book is a modern softcover option that can be customized with three different sizes, six cover colors, and four themes (plus a custom theme option). Pricing starts at $20, and right now Artifact Uprising is offering 20 percent off two or more books with code GALENTINE.

Hoya Heart Plant

I’ve included this Hoya Heart plant in several gift guides, and I stand by it as a seriously cute gift idea. (In fact, I gifted this to a friend for Galentine’s Day a few years ago.) Sweet and simple, it’s an easy-to-care-for plant that’s perfect for placing on a windowsill or desk. And if your friend really leans into the whole plant parent movement, The Sill has tons of other plant-themed gifts, including ceramic message pops, tote bags, and even a cross stitch kit.

Topless Mug

The boob decor trend hit its peak in 2018, but we still love this NSFW mug from Urban Outfitters. Give it to your friends as a fun gift—and if you really want to go above and beyond, pair it with a gift card to their favorite coffee shop. Other gift ideas from Urban include this goddess candle and this party game.

Heartstagram

Framebridge’s popular Heartstagram gift is back, just in time for Valentine’s Day. While it might feel a little cheesy to put a picture of you and your SO in a heart-shaped frame, giving it to your BFF or parent is a totally different story. Just upload your photo, choose from six frame styles, and you’ll get a special 11″x11″ gift for your favorite person to hang on their wall.

Rent the Runway Gift Card

We’re big fans of Rent the Runway over here at AT, and you can’t go wrong with gifting your friend a RTR gift card. The company started by renting out designer dresses, but now you can shop for everything from casual clothes to accessories. Gift cards can be used for 4 or 8 day Reserve rentals, the first month of a membership, or an item in RTR’s Online Sample Sale (so if your friend is already a member, she can’t use it for an existing Unlimited or Update membership).
