Lately, I’ve gotten better at not making too many impulse purchases when it comes to things like clothes, shoes, and other fashion accessories. But when I go to the grocery store and wander down the body care aisle, I cannot help but think, What’s another $6 lotion gonna hurt? As a result, I’ve accumulated a small horde of scrubs, shower gels, and body butters that don’t all fit in the under-sink cabinet. Instead, they’re scattered around the toilet, where they’re not in the way, per se, but they certainly don’t give off a very organized look.

If you’ve also struggled with a lack of bathroom storage space, you might’ve purchased some cabinet organizers or shower caddies to deal with the issue. But I bet you’ve never thought of making your toilet brush or toilet paper holder do double duty. Luckily, one of our favorite home organization brands here at AT has done just that. The Yamazaki toilet organizer might look like a sleek tower from one angle, but it’s actually a smart example of vertical space storage.

Essentially, this simple white organizer features three shelves (including the top) that provide the optimal amount of space to put a toilet brush and a couple rolls of toilet paper. Yamazaki customers agree that it melds fashion and function perfectly. “Great for our small bathroom,” one reviewer wrote. “Used it to hide the toilet bowl cleaner and other bathroom essentials that would otherwise clash with our minimal aesthetic.” This product is also made from steel, so it won’t have that cheap appearance that plastic often does. Once your items are stored on the toilet organizer, all you have to do is angle it away from the door or primary sightline for total concealment.

Keep in mind that each shelf can hold up to 4.4 lbs., so you might want to store heavier bottles and cleaners elsewhere and just keep your necessities stacked in the tower. The top could even serve as a decorative spot for keeping a candle or a plant. Really, there’s no shortage of items you could place within this chic organizer. One thing is for certain, though: you’re in for a better-looking, more organized bathroom because of it.
