I’m one of the many Apartment Therapy staffers and contributors who has a couch she loves from Albany Park. The direct-to-consumer furniture brand specializes in modular couches that you can customize to fit your space, and each couch is made to order in North America. Even better, most orders are delivered within a couple of weeks. I got my Kova pillow cushion sofa on sale in 2023, and I don’t think I’ve ever been more satisfied with a furniture purchase.

Here’s the lowdown: Right now, everything at Albany Park is on sale for up to 40% off, plus free ground shipping. The brand has three collections: Kova, a modular sofa designed for lounging that’s available with your choice of box cushions or pillow cushions; Lido, a sleek take on mid-century modern with skinny legs that raise it off the floor; and Barton, a low-profile style that offers a timeless look. Each is available in more than two dozen fabrics, and you have the option to add on an ottoman to most couches and chairs. Scroll down and get to shopping these editor-approved couches before the sale ends on Monday, March 16.

Kova Box Cushion Sofa 86" + Ottoman
$3,042$1,977

Multiple Apartment Therapy staffers have (and love) this couch, including Editor-in-Chief Charli Penn. “The deep, sink-right-in cushions are a dream, but the boxy silhouette keeps everything looking tailored and tidy, not sloppy,” she wrote in her review. “It’s the sweet spot between casual and polished, which is exactly what our home needed.” Her Kova, like mine, is upholstered in performance velvet, which is shown here. (Note: This sofa is also available without an ottoman. But speaking from experience, the extra storage it provides is totally worth it.)

Kova Sofa 86" + Ottoman
$3,042$1,977

After a few years with her Kova pillow cushion sofa, Senior Shopping Editor Britt Franklin tried out the box cushion version. “The box cushions give it a superchic upgrade, she wrote, adding that they “have a cozy plushness and bounce back into shape with ease.” So which one should you buy? “If you’re in the position of choosing one or the other for your own home, it really just comes down to the vibe you’d prefer for your space.”

Kova L-Shape Sofa
$4,160$2,704

The Kova sofas shown above are great for small spaces. If you’ve got a larger living room to fill, you could go for the 122-inch sofa or one of the modular versions, like this L-shape sofa shown here. It’s available with or without an ottoman, as are the U-shape, the corner sectional, and the grand corner sectional couches.

Kova Pillow Cushion Grand Pit
$8,776$5,088

Remember when this sofa went viral a few years back? With its massive 29-inch seat depth, the Kova Pit is like a never-ending couch. Depending on your fabric choice and whether you add on an ottoman (or two), you can save up to $3,600 on this Albany Park couch during the spring sale.

Barton Storage Ottoman
$1,056$739

Even if you’re not in the market for a couch, you can still shop an Albany Park sale. “We now use the ottoman as a discreet linen closet at the foot of our bed,” contributor Kristen Garaffo wrote in her review. “Even better, it doesn’t look like storage. It looks like a chic, oversized bench that blends seamlessly into the rest of our bedroom.”

Lido Armchair
$2,151$1,506

Okay, so you need seating, but not a full couch. Luckily, each Albany Park collection also includes a lounge chair option. “Yes, the chair is pretty — but, more importantly, it’s also downright comfortable,” wrote SEO home strategist Jamie Birdwell-Branson, who received the chair in the final trimester of her pregnancy, in her review. “But what I love most about this chair is its stain resistance … I’m truly amazed at how brand-new the chair continues to look — even after a run-in with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.”

Lido Sofa
$2,037$1,426

At 75 inches, the Lido sofa is the smallest couch Albany Park makes. Contributor Mark tested it out in the Sand Performance Basketweave shown here to see how stain-resistant the fabric really is. “I get it — a white sofa may seem impractical and might not be for everybody, he wrote. “But based on my experience, the Lido 75” Sand Basketweave Sofa is perfect for those who want a durable, light-colored sofa that will stand up to stains, spills, pets, and kids.” And yes, it’s very comfortable: “Sitting on the Lido felt almost like a luxurious experience.”

Barton Chaise Sectional
$3,891$2,724

“I’ve sat on sofas three times the price (I’m talking about you, infamous cloud couch), and this sofa blows it out of the water,” Commerce SEO Editor Sarah M. Vazquez wrote in her review. She chose the Dark Teal Performance Velvet fabric in part because it’s pet-friendly: “Having a pup means accidents can happen, not to mention the fur, so having a sofa with washable covers is a game-changer.”

Barton Sofa in Tan Vegan Leather
$2,589$1,812

If you want the look of a leather couch without the price of a leather couch, consider trying out the Barton in a vegan leather fabric, available in four colors. It’s “so smooth and soft to the touch that you’ll never want to leave it,” Franklin attested in her review. And like the velvet performance fabric, “it’s also stain-resistant and easy to clean from pet hair or drink spills.”

Kova Armless
$984$640

I’m dreaming of the day when I’ll be able to expand my Kova sofa with this sectional piece. When it finally comes, I’ll make sure to buy it on sale.
