Aldi’s $13 Colorful Plates Are So Pretty, You’ll Want to Grab 2 Sets
Lovers of Aldi’s budget-friendly homewares have something to celebrate this week: The brand is selling a four-pack of gorgeous hobnail plates.
The plates, which are part of Aldi’s Crofton brand, are 9.6” in diameter and come in blue, green, pink, and yellow shades. You can get the entire set for $12.99 — just in time for your spring and summer dinner parties. If you’re seeking elegant, affordable plates for everyday use, these are just the ticket.
Seen in an Instagram from the Aldi All the Time account, the plates look vibrant, while the hobnail detailing adds some vintage charm. They’re perfect for dining outdoors or indoors, and at the low price you can pick up several sets in case anything breaks (or you’re entertaining more people than usual).
Aldi recently launched an online shopping website, and luckily you can shop the plates there for both pickup and delivery. They’re also available for Instacart delivery at select locations.
Looking to fully coordinate your kitchenware? Then you’ll be happy to know that you can also pick up matching four-packs of 13.5-ounce rainbow hobnail glasses, 16.9-ounce rainbow stemless wine glasses, and 16.4-ounce rainbow stemmed wine glasses, all of which retail for $9.99 apiece.
If heading to Aldi isn’t in the cards for you, don’t worry! Williams Sonoma sells a similar set of four dinner plates for $48, available in clear, pink, and green color pathways. It carries a higher price tag, but the 10.5” x 0.5” plates can hold slightly more.
Intricate beaded glassware is making waves at popular homeware retailers. Aldi recently debuted popular $10 pastel cups, and Dollar General’s $2 hobnail glasses are currently flying off the shelves.
And if you’re headed to your local Aldi store, do yourself a favor and keep your eyes peeled for the store’s other kitchenware steals, including adorable strawberry and blueberry-covered ceramic colanders and a floral-inspired tea kettle.
