Organizing

It took the stress out of the daunting project.

But even the professionals make mistakes sometimes.

You can use them all over your house.

A pro organizer shared her best advice.

It was so simple.

My apartment is a strictly “no outside shoes” home, which I love. However, I detest the line of outside shoes at my entrance. It’s not a great sight to be welcomed with as soon as you step inside. So I’ve been looking for an aesthetically pleasing yet practical shoe organizer to place in my entrance foyer. I was specifically searching for a closed shoe organizer that isn’t too bulky and won’t crowd my small entryway.

It's perfect for small spaces.

If you’re looking to overhaul your closet without sending your bank account into a free fall, then IKEA is probably going to be your first stop. The iconic Swedish store is full of affordable wardrobe storage you can use to create a custom closet for way less cash. However, few have reached icon status quite like the PAX wardrobe system.

The ultimate small-space hack.

Self-care is important, of course, but when you’re tired and busy (like I’ve been lately) it’s hard to find the time and energy to actually do it. So it’s nice to make choices in your home that make your daily routine more relaxing — even if it’s something as small as your bathroom decor. And I might have just found the best new drop from IKEA.

I wish I'd done it sooner!

Decluttering these items has given me more control in my life.
