In stuff you didn’t know you needed but totally do, there’s now an Alexa-assisted board game called When in Rome. Instead of arguing over the rules with that pesky player who loves to find questionable loopholes, you’ll be able to leave the dirty work to the Amazon Echo device. Alexa is in charge of laying out the game guidelines, tracking scores and keeping players in line (that means you, cheaters).

We need to talk about Alexa. The Amazon virtual assistant seems to have taken a dark turn in recent days, emitting an evil-sounding laugh to some avid users, Buzzfeed reported on Monday. While it may seem harmless, imagine being curled up in bed about to doze off when a sinister laugh comes out of nowhere—not the most reassuring sound. One Twitter user was able to capture the strange laugh from Alexa on video.

The surest sign you’ve entered a millennial apartment isn’t the fiddle leaf fig or the Edison light bulbs (although those make great options on the Millennial Apartment bingo board), it’s the phone chargers. Now that we carry our smartphones as if they were surgically attached to our limbs, our living rooms have evolved to grow cords that emerge from outlets and tangle across the floor or creep over the backs of couches.
