As Apartment Therapy’s resident style editor, my day-to-day involves browsing the best home buys, attending brand launches and market events, and staying in-the-know of what’s new and now. Basically, I’m always on the lookout for anything that’s trending, game-changing, space-saving, or budget-friendly — and preferably all of the above at once. This past year, I’ve come across a lot of rave-worthy home finds, whether I’ve personally tested them, bought them for my own apartment, or even discovered them via coworkers (our team Slack channels and pitch meetings are it, just saying). Now, I’m sharing the AT shopping intel with you, dear readers, through a roundup of my very favorite 2023 home products.

Below, in no particular order, you’ll find a handful of stylish decor, organizing essentials, and even bathroom accessories that I’ve covered and/or coveted this year. Some caught my eye during major shopping events like Amazon Prime Day or Black Friday, while others have gained momentum as both reader- and editor-approved home MVPs. Naturally, beloved brands like Brooklinen and Cozy Earth topped this list, along with hidden gems from Amazon, Etsy, and more. Read on for the 10 products I couldn’t get enough of in 2022, some of which are currently on sale!

Cozy Earth
$90.00
was $120.00

What’s one thing Oprah Winfrey and I have in common? Our love for Cozy Earth. In fact, the brand’s waffle bath towel collection landed a well-deserved spot on the celeb’s annual Favorite Things list — as well as my own, much less widely-known version. Not only does this double-sided set of two feel amazingly absorbent and comfy, but they look incredibly high-end hanging from my towel rack. Get the Oprah-approved treatment in your own bathroom with a white, charcoal, or light gray set.

I discovered these genius side tables while Black Friday shopping, and I am elated that they’re still in stock via Amazon (…for now). Here’s the lowdown: The set of two pieces can actually stack on top of each other for a multi-level nightstand or end table. Cool, right? Style them individually, too, like on opposite sides of your bed or even in different rooms. Either way, they open up more storage and look good in any space thanks to the pair-with-anything bamboo finish.

Minted
$70.00

If you’ve browsed home goods from West Elm, Minted, Parachute, or The Citizenry this year, you may have come across ceramics designed by Virginia Sin. The Brooklyn-based artist specializes in stunning, sculptural decor, including (my personal favorite) wavy candelabras that double as decorative objects or centerpieces — which also come in black and/or three-candle styles. Make a coffee or dinner table pièce de résistance with this accent and a pair of tapers, then have fun playing around with different height and color combos.

Amazon

Turn any overstuffed drawer from mayhem to magazine-worthy with a honeycomb-shaped divider set — just $14 from Amazon! Apartment Therapy contributor Amy first discovered this to solve her own drawer-organizing dilemma, and she explains that it “comes with eight pieces in total, takes about 30 seconds to assemble, and is easy to move around.” Bonus, since the units interlock, you can use as little or as many as you need for corralling socks, office supplies, house tools, jewelry, and just about anything else — clothing or not.

Etsy
$76.42

When it comes to small-space storage solutions, it doesn’t get more smart or stylish than these colorful Etsy shelves. With 2.9 or 3.5 cm. openings, these are designed to latch on to any tabletop or the side of a bookcase, hanging vertically or horizontally to effectively add extra storage out of thin air — no hardware or installation needed!

Another way to display and use your fave candles, candle warmers have been all the rage this fall and winter. These function like an actual lamp (double duty!) to melt down the wax and disperse any scents, no open flame needed. This particular style has been blowing up TikTok for its classic, vintage-inspired design that gives every candle a longer-lasting life span.

Wayfair
$115.99
was $239.00

Antique-looking rug, minus the price? Enter Wayfair’s water-resistant Gelo denim/brick rug, which touts a straight-out-of-a-vintage-store allure for just $115.99 in a 5’ by 7’6” size. On top of the price (currently 51 percent off!), this checks all my rug-shopping boxes, with a distressed, worn-in-looking design, pretty blue-and-red color palette, and variety of size options to accommodate any space and budget.

Amazon
$62.76
was $109.99

This brass Globe Electric floor lamp features stacked, opposite-facing heads for double the room-brightening lighting. Its ultra-compact silhouette also has small spaces, tight corners, and makeshift reading nooks written all over it. Oh, and it's now 43 precent off, NBD.

Brooklinen
$112.50
was $125.00

Shout out to editor-favorite brand Brooklinen for revealing the checkerboard iteration I never knew I needed — a bathrobe. And not just any bathrobe, this is made from 100 percent Turkish cotton, so it has a borderline-blanket-like feel, on top of the trendy mint-colored print. It’s essentially stylish bathroom decor and a comfy lounge essential, all wrapped in one. It's available in sizes XS to XL.

Amazon

I’ve been eyeing this artificial olive tree ever since designer Cameron Jones recommended it during Amazon’s Prime Day 2.0 a few months ago. As she explains, “large trees like this are frequently needed to fill in corners and add height to spaces that don’t get the best natural light, meaning that faux is best.” At a whopping six feet tall, it’s a sophisticated-looking way to add zero-maintenance greenery into any empty corner of your home, especially paired with a pretty basket or pot. Check out that sale price, too!
