The dynamic do-it-yourself duo has struck again with their second home renovation project!

But it didn’t always look this way. It might be hard to imagine cows ever being in this living room, but while this is a modern architectural structure now, it used to be a barn! The beautiful original wooden ceiling beams give it away.

She certainly has worked hard to transform her passion into a career.

As a musician (Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness), I spend as much time on the road as I do at our home. My love of travel started early, growing up all over the U.S., however California has been home for most of my life.

Co-host of the podcast and HBO special "2 Dope Queens" just added another impressive line to her resume: homeowner. And in New York City, no less.

Having searched for four years, they finally found this 1960s bungalow, which sat on an amazing plot with uninterrupted views of the countryside.

My now-husband Dave and I were living together in a different neighborhood in Baltimore in a house that he purchased before we got together.

Pallets, old fences…any reclaimed wood Lara and Adam found around their neighborhood became building material for their home’s contents. And they saved a lot of money by salvaging fencing they took down during the renovation and other wood scraps.

Size: 276 square feet Years lived in: Owned since December 2015 Brittany, a newborn/family photographer and business coach, and Jordan, a banker-turned-aspiring golf pro, traded in their Charlotte, North Carolina home for life on the road to chase Jordan’s dreams.

This home is one that is stylish but warmly minimal. Each room has a personal touch that expresses their personalities but still feels both refined and functional.

Name: Liz Klafeta, founder of BANGTEL Location: Chicago, Illinois Size: 1,000 square feet Years lived in: 9 years owned Often you hear people use words such as “daunting” or “time consuming” while referring to renovations. “Fun” and “having a blast” don’t come to mind. However, these are the exact words you’ll hear Liz use while describing the renovation process of this space.
