A young family of three has customized a cute tiny house on wheels to be the minimal, functional home of their needs.

Name: Eliza Age: 5 Location: Pittsburgh, PA Room size: 11 ft. x 12 ft. When we received Melissa Nobb’s Room Tour Submission we were quite impressed with her daughter Eliza’s vintage inspired room. Not only is it lovely and cozy with lots of pretty feminine touches, perfect for a little girl, but the shear volume of antiques and vintage items is certainly awe-inspiring.

Cozy, light, warm, subtle pops of color and thoughtful vintage accents combined with Emily’s (Finley and Jackson’s mom) spectacular taste and creative aesthetic make this tour memorable.

Name: Baby R Location: Leiden, The Netherlands Room Size: About 11 square meters I’ve always been drawn to Dutch and Scandinavian-style spaces. There’s just something about the bright whites, vivid pops of color, and amazing vintage pieces mixed in with the modern decor. Baby R’s nursery is no exception. Fuchsia drapes, bold patterned wallpaper, fabulous frocks, and washi taped walls – this space has it all. How would you describe the look and feel of this room? Fun!

Name: Michelle Smith Location: Raleigh, North Carolina Our wide open downstairs has evolved a lot in the seven years that we’ve lived here. In the past couple of years in between designing the interiors of my boutiques, Kindred, then Gather, I’ve made some changes at home too. I painted the walls a handsome gray which brightens up our townhouse which has limited natural light. I bought some flat file storage to store my photo backdrops by color and have available on the fly.

She masterfully combines the cottage/shabby chic aesthetic with a more glam/modern look throughout her home, and her daughter Wren’s room is no exception. How would you describe the look and feel of this room?

Name: Henrik Location: Utah Room Size: “I’m so bad at guessing.” What happens when you combine your child’s personality with a keen eye for decorating and a little ingenuity? Pure magic. That’s exactly what mom, Meta Coleman of One More Mushroom did when she designed her son Henrik’s room. Henrik loves pirates, ships, and exploring, so Meta chose Ralph Lauren’s Out to Sea wallpaper to set the tone for the space.

Name: Freia Location: Berkeley, California Room Size: Tiny! Her corner is probably 5′ x 5′ feet at most, but it is part of our main bedroom (that part is probably 6′ x 8′) When I first discovered little Freia’s nursery, I never would have guessed it was but a tiny corner of the master bedroom in mom Audrey’s two-bedroom rental.

Name: Bo (8 Months) Location: Oslo, Norway When creating a bedroom for our son Bo, we wanted it to tie in with the rest of our apartment and not be overly babyish. Baby specific decor rapidly gets outdated and needs to be updated, as kids grow older. So instead we opted for a more timeless and ageless look, with furniture that lasts (in terms of function, aesthetics and quality) and can grow with him.

One of the compromises Justin, a multi-disciplinary artist, had to make when he moved in with Meg was this: she can color-code the books on the bookshelves, but he gets to choose all the artwork. It worked out well, because judging by their house tour interview, they both love the place they call home in Toronto. The art steals the show, though. And I think it deserves another look (or a first look, if you missed their tour).
