Urban Outfitters Just Launched 5 New Furniture Lines for Fall—and They’re Perfect for Rattan Lovers
Even if you’re sad that summer is coming to an end, you might be excited about all the new fall collections that are dropping every day. Although new products launch every season, there’s something about the transition from summer to fall that makes our favorite retailers really pull out all the stops. (Just read our coverage of Anthropologie and Serena & Lily‘s new lines to see for yourself.) Urban Outfitters just released five new furniture collections, and we couldn’t be happier. The lines range from boho to Scandinavian minimalist, with lots of warm earth tones and textures—if you’re a fan of the wood and rattan look, get excited. Check out the new collections below.
This is the collection for all you rattan fans out there. The Mikko line feels the most “Urban”, with lots of boho touches like curved lines and that beloved rattan look. The pieces are simple and unfussy, including dressers and side tables that are the perfect finishing touch for a casual, boho-eclectic space. And you can’t help but admire that eye-catching rattan bed.
If mid-century modern is more your style, you’ll love the Huxley collection. The line is full of warm wood pieces that also happen to be ideal for small space living—think hidden storage and classic styling that you’ll actually want to take from apartment to apartment.
The Virginia collection is different from the usual Urban Outfitters fare—it’s shabby chic, vintage-inspired, and even a little romantic. The line is focused on bedroom furniture, with finishes in either natural wood or white for extra versatility. From a gorgeous vanity set to an antique-looking dresser, you’ll find everything you need for a soft and feminine bedroom.
For a more streamlined look, check out the pieces in the Lita collection. Inspired by clean Scandinavian design, this line makes use of lighter wood finishes, clean lines, and modern yet functional sensibility. There are only five pieces in the line, and they’re all bigger ticket items that will stand out in the best way in any space.
If you really love the antique look, you’ll definitely be interested in the Aria collection. Unfussy and understated, the pieces in this line take inspiration from shabby chic metal framework, with pieces that have an elegant silhouette and pared down vibe. This is the most budget-friendly of the five new collections, and it has stand-out accent pieces you won’t want to miss.
