Kabba makes custom men's suits, and since the start of the pandemic transitioned to working from home, meaning his rental apartment had to serve multiple functions.

This house was renovated twice since it was built in the 1960s, and when Doro and Jürgen moved in, the couple had a clear idea of how they wanted to change the house to suit their style.

Miranda has leaned into slow furnishing her apartment recently. "Almost everything has been hunted off FB marketplace, or my neighborhood antique shops," writes Miranda. "This way each piece feels intentional and meaningful and I like to think they each have storied lives to them!"

Rebekah Love, a professional organizer and the owner of company, Organize For Love, shares this Staten Island home with husband, Olushola Bashorun, a fine arts photographer with AQut Photography, and their daughter, Loren.

This cottage was a family endeavor for Leigh and Mark. "My father spent countless hours helping, my mother would come randomly to help paint siding or bring cookies, and my aunts would do the same," Leigh says. "We spent hours chatting about the past and the future, listening to their suggestions (sometimes ignoring their suggestions), and building something that was us, but also them."

Former graphic designer Siân currently works in the NHS as a Mental Health Practitioner, and says that making home personal is incredibly important for mental health and overall well being.
