About Me
As Apartment Therapy’s Senior Home Editor, I help our readers discover design solutions and ideas that enrich their spaces, all while keeping in line with the latest design trends. I also edit and create research-backed guides to the top DIY home projects and more complex renovations, featuring leading experts in their fields. I have a strong background in service journalism with nearly a decade of editorial experience in lifestyle media after graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of Florida’s College of Journalism and Communications.
Prior to joining Apartment Therapy, I served as Health Editor at Good Housekeeping, where I earned multiple reporting awards for covering in-depth women’s health issues at the magazine for over three years. My design background is rooted in my time as an editor at Martha Stewart Living, creating service content around clever interior design, holiday celebrations, delicious recipes, and DIY craft projects for the whole family to enjoy. It’s there that I discovered my passion for helping others elevate their spaces—and for making design concepts accessible for all by removing barriers between professionals and enthusiasts across the country.
Most recently, I led content strategy at Hearst Magazines, focusing on audience acquisition and service for four home magazines—Country Living, Elle Decor, House Beautiful and VERANDA. I’ve worked to help editors everywhere create content that both delights and helps people navigate complex issues at home, from design snafus to costly renovation hiccups.
When I’m not at work, I’m likely chatting with friends over a drink and snack in one of Manhattan’s sleekest lounges—after writing about food for TIME in 2018, I can’t seem to resist trolling Resy for the city’s buzziest reservations.
