I was looking forward to almost everything about my cruise to Svalbard, an archipelago in Norway. The region, close to the North Pole, has an otherworldly landscape with enormous icebergs. One of my favorite parts of childhood was show and tell. I always had something to talk about and show off to my classmates — I had a lot of interests — and to this day, I think it’s a great way to get to know another person.
