My Marlow Pillow arrived rolled like a tube, and part of the fun was opening it and giving it a fluff before it naturally settled into its puffy form. It’s a gorgeous, green-lined piece with a 100 percent cotton shell that’s thick enough to sleep on comfortably, whether or not you choose to use a cover. Hot sleepers in particular can rest easy, as The Pillow’s fill stays contained by a breathable mesh that also assists in regulating its temperature. It stays cool thanks to an 80/20 split of cooling memory foam and polyester fiber. And because the antimicrobial shell keeps bacteria at bay, you can forget about any unwanted germs and smells.

The Pillow‘s firmness is determined by a built-in feature that’s hidden in plain sight: zippers! There’s one zipper on each long side of the pillow. When they’re closed, the pillow stays firm, and as you unzip, it becomes softer. Translation: There’s no need to open up the pillow to refill it to increase its support when you need it. Plus, because the pillow adjusts as your personal sleeping habits do, you don’t have to buy a brand new one if your tastes suddenly shift.
