Our Place Is Running Daily Labor Day Deals on Popular Favorites Like the Super-Famous Always Pan

When the Kitchn team interviewed Our Place founder Shiza Shahid in December 2020, she hinted that “more colors” would grace the cult-favorite Always Pan in the new year. Among them was Heat, which was originally part of the brand’s sold-out 2020 Lunar New Year Collection. While the fiery red hue may be back, it could very well sell out again, because it’s currently on sale as part of Our Place’s daily Labor Day deals. Normally $145, Heat is currently priced at just $115.

Designed to function as eight pieces of cookware in one, the 2.6-quart pan has three-inch-deep sloped sides and can be used as a fry pan, sauté pan, steamer, skillet, saucier, and saucepan. The biggest pro is the ceramic nonstick surface, which is ideal for tricky items like crepes and delicate dosas.

Kitchn contributor Patty Catalano tested the pan and confirms that the nonstick surface is a joy to cook with. “In the six months that I’ve been using the pan, I’ve never had a single scrambled egg stick, and dinner slides cleanly out — always,” she says. “If your go-to pan is a nonstick pan because you hate the cleanup that comes with cooking, this is a great, smart upgrade.” To clean the pan, simply soak it in warm soapy water and give it a good scrub for tough stains, or just put it in the dishwasher.

Given the brand’s history of consistently sold-out colors (remember the 30,000-person waitlist for Spice?), we’re pretty sure Heat will likely not stay in stock for long, especially since this is a one-day deal.
