Actress and activist Gabrielle Union is partaking in the official quarantine pasttime—getting dressed in the morning to simply sit on the couch all day. Except, Union has one-upped everyone else: Her white bouclé sofa is heavenly, and something you can incorporate into your own home.

“All dressed up to sit on the sofa,” Union captioned an August 20 Instagram post. And she means business with her Valentino purse, trousers, and loafers to match—no sweats in sight.

Bouclé, for those who haven’t heard the term, is a wooly, nubby fabric that basically feels like a textured fleece. It’s super cozy and has a unique look that isn’t often seen on larger pieces of furniture. But even so, it’s become popular in the world of home decor in recent years.

Though it’s unclear who designed Union’s bouclé couch, it looks nearly identical to the Gwyneth Paltrow-designed bouclé loveseat from her 2018 Goop X CB2 collection. The only difference is the slight color variation—Union’s appears to be a pure white whereas the Gwyneth Loveseat is ivory—and the size.

CB2 also sells an even more modern-looking bouclé option called the Logan Grey Boucle Sofa. This design has a low back like Union’s and more puffy, cloudlike cushions.

Article also sells a bouclé sofa in a more similar tone to Union’s. It’s in a mid-century style with wood peg legs and smooth rounded back. And, because it’s Article, this version is a bit more affordable.

Union is clearly doing quarantine right with that bouclé couch, and with fall and winter right around the corner, curling up on a similar sofa just seems right.
